HI, I’M DR. CAT

I help women recover from pelvic symptoms that are often dismissed, overlooked, or misdiagnosed.

My goal is to give you answers, a plan that works, and care that actually makes you feel better.

I became a pelvic health specialist after going through it myself.

My own experience with pelvic floor dysfunction changed the course of both my life and my career. I dealt with symptoms that were frustrating, persistent, and deeply disruptive, but what made it worse was how long it took to get answers.

Like many women, I was told it was “normal,” “hormonal,” or just something I had to live with. That didn’t sit right with me so I decided to dig deeper. What I found was a whole world of evidence-based pelvic health care that simply wasn’t being offered or explained clearly to most patients.

So I committed my career to helping others avoid the same confusion, shame, and uncertainty I went through. Today, I offer one-on-one pelvic floor physical therapy that’s personal, practical, and grounded in science. Whether you’re recovering postpartum, dealing with chronic pain, or just trying to understand what your body is telling you, I’m here to help you find clarity, regain strength, and feel like yourself again.

Most clinics focus on symptoms in isolation. I treat the whole body, because your healing deserves more than exercises.

Nervous System Awareness

We integrate breathwork and somatic tools to  support deeper healing.

personalized sessions

Private, focused care with no hand-offs or group treatments. Just you and me.

Whole-Body Assessment

We look at posture, breath, movement, and how your body works as a system.

Clear, Practical Education

You’ll always know the “why” behind each step of your care.

What we might work on together:

  • Pelvic floor coordination (tightness, weakness, or both)
  • Pressure management to support prolapse or leaking
  • Core retraining for diastasis recti or instability
  • Scar tissue mobility (C-section, episiotomy, or other)
  • Manual therapy for pain, tightness, or tenderness
  • Return-to-movement strategies for fitness, sex, or daily life
  • Bladder and bowel education (timing, urge, function)
  • Modifications that actually fit your lifestyle

Who I work with:

  • People who’ve already seen another PT and still don’t feel better
  • Those dealing with complex, chronic pelvic pain or diagnoses like endo, IC, or vulvodynia
  • Postpartum women who are months or years out and still feel disconnected from their core
  • Women preparing for birth or recovering after delivery (vaginal or C-section)
  • Anyone who has felt dismissed, embarrassed, or unsure how to talk about this

Where I practice

I see patients inside the Prana Salt Cave in Wilmington, NC, a peaceful, spa-like environment that makes physical therapy feel less clinical and a lot more supportive. It’s a private space, appointments are one-on-one, and you’ll never be rushed or overlooked.

I also offer virtual sessions and in-home visits for clients who need more flexibility or accessibility.
